#SchoolWithKristy: From Charter/Private School to Public School
Hey Guys!
It's Kristy♥
Since we all know that I'm doing a back to school series!
I'm super excited to see your little faces at school.
Okay so let's get into this.
~
This was actually requested by a friend of mine because she's moving from a charter school to public school. I just want to say that it isn't difficult. Public School is super fun and the teachers are little laid back.
Make Friends: Making friends will get you through your move. Usually, starting into a public middle school is easy because people come from all type of elementary schools so no one really cares. Same with high school. Elementary school is a little bit harder because your know as the girl who started out at their school later than everybody else.
Clothing: One thing a like about public school is you can dress in what ever you want. You can wear anything as long as it fits your school dress code.
Stress: Stress happens in every school. Public school can be a little more stressful because you learn at a faster pace and there's a lot of papers. I suggest staying very organized and pay attention.
Different Grades Starters: In my district, we start middle school at 6th Grade and goes 'til 8th Grade. Another district in my state starts middle school in 7th Grade and goes 'til 9th. Must charter schools go until ninth grade so...many of you guys are probably used to going into 7th grade for middle school. It might be harder than it seems at my district because everybody would have started in 6th grade so stick to the stuff above.
~
Well that's it for this post.

School Essentials:
Backpack: I know sounds tacky but if I didn't have a backpack I could not survive 6th grade. Some kids just had a giant binder to carry around. I would hate that so much! My arms would get so tired! So a backpack made the list! Also you want your bag to be nice not one of those crappy ones that last a month.
-
Subject Organizers: Subject organizers are so light and so easy to carry. They organize classwork and homework.
-
Binders: Some classes require binders. binders can be extremely heavy but I would totally recommend subject organizers especially if you have tons of textbooks. Binders can hold a lot of things so that also is important
-
Pencil Pouch: This one we can all guess why this is an essential. I'm always the girl who ask for pencils and my goal this year is to stop doing that and bring my own pencils. This helpful because I can keep track of my pencils.
-
Water bottle: Am I the only one who get's thirsty during class and the teacher is like you need to have a pass. Well then this is a total must. Hydration keeps you awake and running. It keeps your brain focused. You also could bring Gatorade but if it gets spilled then it's not my fault.
-
Notebook: Every class needs this! I swear on my life this is a must. Writing things down will help you with your studying and your grades. I promise!
-
Writing Utensils: Okay you already know why you need a pencil so it's no big deal.
-
Flashcards: My Favorite part of studying. I just love it when someone quizzes me on vocab. They help with studying. You can literally pull them out anywhere and know every thing you need to know.
~
Well that's it for this #schoolwithkristy.
If you have any essentials I should add just comment below.

What to do When Your Bored+OOTD

Hey Guys!
It's Kristy and today I'm going to tell you 5 things to do when your bored.
I believe that having fun is a great part of life and fun is happiness so yeah.
That was deep.^^^
1. Start a Blog.
Blogging is one of my favorite past times. You get to right about what ever you want! What's better than that? You get to right about anything. Why do you think I started my blog?
2. Make a Fort.
Forts are the most amazing things in the word! I build them all the time with my friends but when you do it by yourself it can still be really fun. I like to build my over my TV because it at least gives me some entertainment because I can't live without my Netflix or YouTube!
3. Try Some New Makeup Looks.
Trying new makeup looks are really fun! I do them all the time for my YouTube videos. After all you get to impress your buddies with your new makeup look.
4. If You Have a Pillow Pet, Pretend it's Real.
This is what I do with my Pillow Pet, Beezel. I pretend that he's a real pet. You can pretend your on adventures and it's really fun.
5. Watch YouTube.
YouTube is one of my favorite pastimes. I get to watch other people do what I love to write about. I really like to watch comedy when I'm bored. I suggest like Tyler Oakley or Pewdiepie.
In this OOTD, I'm wearing striped overalls from Macy's and pink long sleeved shirt from Target which I ruffled up the sleeves because it's summer and that's how I beat the heat. On my wrist I have a black hair band. I know, I'm lame but I'm not know for my accessories.
Well hope you liked it and that this will pass time when your bored!

- In a large bowl, mix everything together except the strawberry jam.
- Measure out 2 cups of this mixture. Leave the rest in the bowl, and set it aside.
- Take the 2 cups of the mixture and press it into the bottom of the pan. You can use your hands or a spoon. Make sure you cover the entire bottom of the pan!
- Using a large spoon, spread the strawberry jam on top of the mixture in the pan. Spread it evenly all over.
- Take the mixture that was left in the bowl, and spread it over the strawberry jam. Press it down lightly.
- Bake for 25 minutes. Remove the pan from the oven, and allow it to cool for at least 15 minutes.
- Cut the bars into 12 squares to eat and share!

Random Review: The Fault in Our Stars
Hey Guys!
It's Kristy and today I'm going to tell you what I thought of The Fault in Our Stars,
but before we get started I'm going to say now that
I'm not going to do Tip of the Day because it's almost 11:00
so let's get started.
~
Okay so I've read The Fault in our Fault many times so just to clear things up
this is movie!
-
My Opinion:
The Fault in Our Stars was amazing. I've seen it 4 times already and I loved it every single time more than the time before. It made me wanna cry and I shedded a tear or two. Shai and Ansel are amazing at acting and they did such an amazing job it made me feel bad for them even though they don't have cancer. The movie and book {bringing this in for a second.} made me more aware of these kinda things. Forget Sheo, Remember Shansel.

Cookie Dough Popsicles+Gluten Free
Hey Guys!
It's Kristy and today I'm going to show you guys a recipe that my dad and I do a lot!
Let's get started!
~
Ingredients:
1 13.5 oz can of full-fat organic coconut milk
3/4 cup unsweetened non-dairy milk, of your choice (I used hemp milk)
1/2 cup sustainably-sourced coconut sugar (maple sugar, brown sugar, or sucanat would also work)
generous pinch of salt
1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
1/3 cup + 3 tablespoon mini chocolate chips, vegan and gluten-free
-
Instructions
Place both milks, coconut sugar (or whatever sugar you choose) and salt in a small saucepan and cook stirring over a low heat until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat, let cool for a bit, then stir in vanilla.
Divide the 1/3 cup of mini chocolate chips between the bottoms of your Popsicle molds. (reserve the remaining chips for later). Then fill the Popsicle molds with milk mixture leaving a small amount of room on top. Don’t put the tops on just yet.
Freeze until only partially frozen, about 1-2 hours. Remove from freezer and add the remaining half of the chips. Insert sticks and freeze until totally solid.
